Nissan LEAF to Get Stretched

For the average person a limo is not something that you see every day. When you see a limo it is usually for a special occasion or event. Limos are very distinct usually a long car or SUV making these cars very inefficient.

Well, Imperial Coach Builders, a custom-coach-building subsidiary of Electric Car Company, is about to shatter all of those judgments. After receiving a most unusual work order, the Springfield, Massachusetts-based company is about to stretch the Nissan LEAF.

Nissan and City Ventures Join Forces to Create 190 EV-Ready Homes

Nissan is taking green living from autos to houses.  That's right, earlier this month, the Japanese automaker announced a new joint project with City Ventures aimed at pre-wiring 190 houses in the state of California.

"Pre-wiring for what?" you ask. Level II electric vehicle charging docks recommended for the Nissan LEAF, that's what. And, while only three developments in California have been selected to initially participate in the initiative, City Ventures plans to pre-wire houses in all of its new housing developments, moving forward.
